The other day I was playing with my Naughty Nautical pigments and came up with this look. I only did one eye and then took it off, because honestly, I didn't really like it. It was just too bright for me. I think slightly toned down and I probably would have liked it better. It may be that I wasn't used to seeing myself in such a bold look, since I'm used to simple, softer ones.
I only took a few photos because I didn't plan on posting it, but I thought I would anyway. I'd like to mention that I love my lashes in these pics! They have a little blue on them at the end because I touched up on the pigment and didn't reswipe with mascara. I used Volume Couture for the first time with this look and I love it!! I think I should just stick with Max Factor, because it's the only brand I've had success with. I may switch from my Lash Perfection to this, possibly my new Holy Grail mascara!
What I used:
* Revlon Creme Shadow (base)
* MAC pigment in Mutiny (inner)
* MAC pigment in Bell-bottom Blue (outer)
* MAC pigment in Lark About (crease & highlight)
* Max Factor eyeliner in Jean Jacket (top & bottom liner)
* Max Factor Volume Couture waterproof mascara

i love bell bottom blue, but mutiny looks quite frosty/bright on me too. for me it helps if i use them separately since i don't like looks that are over the top on myself either.
ooo i actually really love the look! it's bold but really fun =) and your lashes do look amazing! they look soo long yea really can't go wrong with max factor mascaras =)

i don't think it looks bad at all! you probably hate my looks since mine's can be pretty dramatic, if the mood strikes me. LOL! :)
but honestly, it doesn't look bad, and your lashes do look great here! :) too bad the lash blast didn't work for you but at least you found a mascara that did! :)

ryc: i wear my fake lashes for as long as possible. i think kayebee uses hers for two weeks. i actually go back and forth between several pairs of different fake lashes, so one pair lasts me a looooong time.

I think everyone disliked these pigments because of how blue they are, lol. The only time that I seriously wear blue is for 80s parties. :P
I do love the lashes! I love my MF mascaras, but they never look this good on me!
your lashes look fab! and blue makeup does a lot to make your eyes pop, you should have posted a FOTD am sure it would've looked great! :)
I think this look is really pretty on you. I have the same feelings as you too, I'm used to wearing subtle or neutral looks. When I put on bright colors, I feel uncomfortable.
