By request, I made some swatches of the 3 foundation samples I have. Caroline and Hyeyeon are both in the Concealer-foundation Formula, while Kerrie is the Original Formula.
As you will see from the swatches below, the foundation is not an extremely milled powder and when applied alone can be a bit drying. The key to using this foundation is moisture! Have a nicely moisturized face or apply it wet using something like Fix+ or even plain water. Another option I discovered is mixing it with a moisturizer. I mixed a little of Hyeyeon with my Clean and Clear Morning Glow moisturizer and instantly created a nice tinted moisturizer for the summer. I mentioned in my review that it felt like I was wearing something and not being as lightweight as other MMU, but as homemade tinted moisturizer, it was completely invisible feeling! It does have a matte finish, but Clean and Clear has a bit of luminizer in it, so I ended up with a nice semi-matte finish.
