I know the Heatherette hype is gone now, but I must have played with this trio a million times and I could never get anything out of it. Since I couldn't figure out a look, I never got around to posting it. This trio was really hard for me to use. The pink shade is very pale and black shadows have never suited me. The blue made look kind of clownish. It was just really difficult.
This is what I came up with and I semi-like it. I know there are a lot of smokey eye looks because of the black shadow, but I can't really pull off smokey and I wanted to do something different. Again, I wish I could provide better pictures but my outdated camera sucks. I think it looks better in person than in the pictures :P And if I look a little off color, it's because I think my foundation is too light now with summer around the corner.
What I used using Heatherette Trio 1:
* White shimmery pencil (base)
* Hoppin' (inner half)
* Mood Ring (outer half)
* Cloudburst as eyeliner
* MAC pigment in Jardin Aires (highlight)
* No mascara :)
Face & lip:
* Maybelline Mineral Power in Natural Ivory
* EDM blush in All Smiles (super pigmented, whoa!)
* Wet 'n Wild lipstick in Pink Lemonade

Dont know what your talking about Gee, it's pretty! but I see what you're talking about with the pigmentation, have you thought about a colour base or primer? it might give it a little more oomph. Still pretty though, dont give up!

awww so pretty. i used my heatherette trio 1 today! my mom was like, "i like your eyeshadow!" hehe.
I'm gravitating towards the lips. So kissable! hehehe. I'm getting a Maybelline Mineral Power Sample on the mail soon. I hope it'll looks as good as on you.
PS. woot for Cool Water! I'm gonna start wearing it again when I move to Memphis... at least there, not a lot of ladies wear that scent. :)

I gotta agree with you; I love the packaging, but the colors in Trio 1 are kind of hard to work with. :\
I like your rendition, though. :) It's very soft, and definitely could be worn out during the day.
